Zenity Expands into the Public Sector with AI Governance Platform

September 25, 2025 By admin Leave a Comment

Zenity, the leading end-to-end security and governance platform for AI agents, has announced its official entry into the public sector. The expansion is backed by new partnerships with government resellers through the Zenity Partner Program and tailored deployment options designed for agencies that are rapidly adopting AI to improve efficiency, decision-making, and public service delivery.

The timing of this move could not be more significant. According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the number of federal AI use cases more than doubled in just one year, rising from 571 in 2023 to 1,110 in 2024. This surge underscores the urgency for secure and reliable governance solutions that can operate across sensitive, mission-critical environments. Zenity’s platform provides the safeguards agencies need to manage AI responsibly while ensuring resilience against emerging risks.

To lead the initiative, Zenity appointed Seth Nylund as general manager of public sector. With more than two decades of experience delivering transformative technologies to defense, civilian, and intelligence agencies, Nylund brings a strong record of navigating federal requirements and aligning technology with mission priorities. He emphasized that AI adoption in government must be grounded in transparency, control, and resilience, positioning Zenity as a trusted partner for agencies seeking secure, compliant deployments.

Zenity’s platform is built to help public sector organizations discover and monitor AI agents across diverse environments, enforce secure-by-design policies in line with NIST, OWASP, and MITRE standards, detect anomalies before they lead to breaches, and maintain audit-ready governance across AI-driven workflows. This holistic approach ensures agencies can scale AI adoption without compromising security or accountability.

Zenity CEO and co-founder Ben Kliger highlighted the growing demand for defense-in-depth strategies that protect the AI ecosystem from vulnerabilities and misuse. He stressed that agencies now require proactive governance, runtime enforcement, and resilient architectures to align AI deployments with mission-critical objectives. Zenity’s ability to deliver scalable, compliant, and mission-ready solutions positions it as a strategic player in shaping how government agencies integrate GenAI and autonomous systems securely.

By entering the public sector, Zenity is not just expanding its market reach—it is positioning itself at the heart of a critical transformation, where AI agents become essential to modern governance, but only under the shield of strong, adaptive security. This move underscores the company’s ambition to become the de facto standard for AI governance across both enterprise and government landscapes.
