VirnetX Wins GSA Schedule Contract, Expands Reach Into U.S. Government Cybersecurity

VirnetX Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: VHC) has secured a significant milestone by being awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule contract, giving the company streamlined access to federal, state, and local government agencies in need of mission-critical cybersecurity and secure communications solutions. The GSA Schedule, often called the “gold standard” for public procurement, provides agencies with a trusted marketplace to purchase pre-vetted technologies under simplified terms, which now includes VirnetX’s offerings.

This recognition underscores VirnetX’s growing push into the government and defense ecosystem. With its patented platforms such as VirnetX Matrix® and War Room®, the company will now be better positioned to support secure communications, collaboration, and command-and-control functions in complex, multi-domain environments. The contract also aligns with the government’s increasing emphasis on zero-trust architectures and digital modernization, where cyber resilience and real-time secure communications are essential.

CEO Kendall Larsen framed the award as both validation and opportunity, highlighting that government agencies will gain easier access to VirnetX’s managed attribution and cybersecurity solutions. The company’s broader strategy has been evolving toward defense and intelligence partnerships, adding security accreditations and services like Digital Engineering and Cyber Threat Intelligence to its portfolio.
