Twine, a US-Israeli cybersecurity startup, has announced $12 million in seed funding, co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Dell Technologies Capital, with additional backing from angel investors, including the founders of Wiz. This capital will accelerate the development of Twine’s AI-powered digital cyber employees, designed to execute end-to-end security tasks and address the critical talent shortage in the industry. Twine’s first digital employee, Alex, is built to alleviate the burden of identity management by learning, understanding, and proactively achieving organizational cybersecurity objectives.
Twine aims to bridge the global cybersecurity talent gap, highlighted by the World Economic Forum’s report of a 4-million-person shortfall. By focusing on Identity Access Management (IAM) as a key challenge, Alex empowers teams to improve efficiency and reduce exposure to threats. Founded by cybersecurity veterans Benny Porat, Nadav Erez, Omri Green, and Justin Woody, all formerly of cyber unicorn Claroty, Twine combines deep industry expertise with innovative AI solutions.
