National Non-partisan Organization, Keep Our Republic, to Host Tech Law Policy Forum in Michigan

September 12, 2024 By admin Leave a Comment

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. Sept. 12, 2024 – Keep Our Republic (KOR), a non-partisan nonprofit with chapters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, is hosting a tech and policy forum, “AI & Cyber: The Future of National Security,” on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, regarding election integrity and safeguards. The event will feature former CIA Intelligence Officer Patrick Weninger and University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security Founder and former U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton as guest speakers.

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created a new challenge for national security and upholding the integrity of our elections. During the event, AI and cybersecurity experts Weninger and Hickton will discuss concerns about AI’s role in both potentially harming and bolstering election security.

We invite you to this technology forum on behalf of Keep Our Republic. Additionally, Keep Our Republic Executive Director Ari Mittleman is available for an interview prior to the forum. If you are interested in talking with him, I’m happy to coordinate an interview in advance of the event. To RSVP for the AI forum on Sept. 18 in Michigan, email Kyle Moroney at [email protected] or call 616-776-3511.
