In May 2025, the IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) and the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC) will unite at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, showcasing a collaborative vision for technological innovation and cybersecurity. From May 13 to 15, the events will feature over 350 exhibitors and a rich program of 100 conference sessions led by 150 global experts, driving discussions and solutions for a digitally interconnected future.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, IOTSWC will explore the theme, “Connect to the Next Level,” emphasizing the transformative power of cutting-edge technologies. The event will delve into advancements in IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, 5G, Digital Twins, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Big Data Analytics, and Renewable Energy, illustrating their roles in revolutionizing industries. Structured across four dynamic spaces—an exhibition zone, a StartUp Pavilion for emerging innovations, The Dome for presentations, and a Congress program—IOTSWC will center on Power of Innovation, Emerging Technologies, and 5G and Wireless Connectivity, catering to industries poised for digital evolution.
Security, an indispensable pillar in the era of industrial digitalization, will take center stage at the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress. Organized alongside IOTSWC and in partnership with the Catalonia Cybersecurity Agency, BCC will address challenges associated with the rise of connected IoT devices and 5G adoption, which have amplified vulnerabilities to cyber threats. With its slogan “Building a Secure Future for Industries,” BCC will present an exhibition zone, expert-led discussions on investment in cybersecurity and supply chain protection, and a Hacking Village where ethical hackers will demonstrate advanced techniques.
The synergy between IOTSWC and BCC will be further exemplified in shared features like the StartUp Pavilion and The Dome, fostering innovation and collaboration across sectors. This year’s addition of a VIP Cocktail Party for C-level executives underscores the event’s emphasis on high-level networking, facilitating impactful connections among decision-makers.
Expected to draw over 11,000 professionals, including a majority with decision-making authority, these congresses represent a unique convergence of digital transformation and security expertise. Together, IOTSWC and BCC 2025 promise to guide industries toward a technologically advanced and secure future, underscoring the importance of collaboration in addressing the challenges of an interconnected world.
