CyberArk Expands Identity Security with Secure Cloud Access and Agent Guard in AWS Marketplace AI Category

July 17, 2025 By admin Leave a Comment

CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a global pioneer in identity security, has announced a significant expansion of its security tools designed specifically for artificial intelligence agents. CyberArk Secure Cloud Access (SCA) MCP Server and CyberArk Agent Guard are now available in the newly launched AWS Marketplace AI Agents and Tools category, streamlining the discovery, procurement, and deployment of AI-driven security solutions. This integration into AWS Marketplace represents a strategic move by CyberArk to help organizations rapidly adopt secure AI workflows within their existing cloud infrastructures.

The introduction of these tools is particularly timely, as organizations increasingly face challenges related to uncontrolled AI adoption and privilege management. CyberArk’s research indicates that approximately 68% of organizations currently lack robust identity security controls for AI, highlighting the severity of exposure to cybersecurity risks. To mitigate this, CyberArk’s solutions incorporate the Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) model, significantly reducing vulnerabilities associated with persistent standing entitlements, credential sprawl, and unmanaged AI agents across diverse, multi-cloud environments.

CyberArk SCA MCP Server is engineered to facilitate quick and secure integration of ZSP directly into developer workflows, significantly enhancing security practices without sacrificing productivity. The server helps organizations secure cloud-native infrastructure and effectively grants scoped, controlled access to AI assistants like Amazon Q and Anthropic’s Claude. Additionally, it provides robust audit trails and role-based access controls, giving security teams the visibility necessary to manage complex agentic workflows proactively.

Complementing the SCA MCP Server, CyberArk Agent Guard acts as a real-time security oversight tool, meticulously monitoring Large Language Model (LLM) interactions and AI tool calls. It captures extensive metadata, generates intuitive analytical graphs, and seamlessly integrates API keys and secrets within secure environments. This ensures secure interactions between AI agents and credential providers, including AWS Secrets Manager and CyberArk Secrets Manager, supporting streamlined and secure agent-based operations within existing DevSecOps processes.

Peretz Regev, Chief Product Officer at CyberArk, emphasized the critical importance of these capabilities, noting that inadequate security frameworks severely compromise the transformative potential of agentic AI technologies. CyberArk’s expanded offerings empower businesses to implement stringent privilege and access controls without hindering AI-driven innovation and scale. This proactive security approach helps organizations achieve a balanced environment, allowing the adoption of AI while confidently managing associated risks.

AWS Marketplace’s AI Agents and Tools category also simplifies vendor evaluation and accelerates procurement, enabling centralized licensing, payments, and access management via existing AWS accounts. This ensures not only seamless integration but also better governance and oversight of AI initiatives.

As enterprises continue to accelerate AI adoption, CyberArk’s Secure Cloud Access MCP Server and Agent Guard reinforce the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering comprehensive identity security solutions tailored explicitly for the age of artificial intelligence. The availability of these tools within AWS Marketplace positions CyberArk as an essential partner for organizations aiming to deploy secure, scalable, and controlled AI workflows, safeguarding against the evolving cybersecurity threats of today’s rapidly digitizing landscape.
