Axonius has unveiled the full agenda for its annual industry event, CTRL/ACT, bringing together cybersecurity leaders, practitioners, and innovators for two days of focused discussion on moving beyond reactive firefighting toward proactive security strategies. Scheduled for October 22–23, 2025, the virtual conference will feature a mix of keynotes, panels, fireside chats, and technical sessions designed to equip attendees with the tools and insights needed to confront the challenges of fragmented environments, escalating AI-enabled threats, and the gap between visibility and decisive action.
Dean Sysman, co-founder and CEO of Axonius, will set the tone with a keynote that defines the company’s vision for transforming exposure management by turning visibility into true actionability. His address will be complemented by Rachel Wilson, managing director and head of cybersecurity at Morgan Stanley, who will delve into the seismic shift posed by AI-driven cybercrime and why organizations must move from simple awareness to actionable defenses. Attendees will also get a first look at Axonius’ latest product and technology innovations across artificial intelligence, asset intelligence, connected medical devices, and cyber-physical systems, signaling the company’s deepening role in proactive security.
The conference will also showcase a strong mix of practitioner perspectives. A CISO panel and customer journey sessions will feature leaders from BlueLinx, the City of Los Angeles, NetApp, and Tyson Foods, while Western Union will share how it is leveraging Axonius with AWS to safeguard its highly regulated global operations. Complementing these are sessions on continuous threat exposure management, requirements for Exposure Assessment Platforms, securing medical devices, conducting actionability self-assessments, and addressing the complexities of managing non-human identities at scale.
CTRL/ACT also highlights the human side of cybersecurity. A fireside chat with Brendan Hunt, co-creator and star of Ted Lasso, will explore themes of teamwork, belief, and truth in complex environments—offering inspiration for security teams often stretched between competing priorities. Forrester’s senior analyst Erik Nost will join in a conversation about proactive security in the AI era, ensuring attendees leave with both practical guidance and strategic foresight.
Joe Diamond, president of Axonius, underscored the rationale behind the event by stating that the industry has for too long equated visibility with security. Seeing a problem, he emphasized, is not the same as solving it, and the real challenge lies in bridging the gap from discovery to action. With CTRL/ACT, Axonius aims to convene the community best positioned to close that gap, providing not only discussion but also actionable frameworks to meet the evolving demands of cybersecurity.
