The 14th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit is a prestigious event that brings together government and industry cyber executives to discuss and explore cybersecurity’s role in an era of increased risk. The summit will be held from September 5 to 8, 2023, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
The summit will feature The Hon. Jen Easterly, Director of CISA, as a distinguished speaker. Director Easterly will participate in a Fireside Chat, engaging in one-on-one discussions, where she will share insights on how CISA is leading the nation’s cyber response and defense efforts. As part of an elite group of government and industry leaders, she will address the responsibilities, authorities, and funding that CISA manages to improve the collective cyber defense posture of the United States.
With nearly 2,000 expected attendees and over 200 speakers from various sectors, the summit will facilitate vital discussions on the latest cyber trends and issues during more than 40 sessions. Other prominent speakers include U.S. Army Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, Hon. Avril Haines, Hon. Anne Neuberger, Kemba Walden, Lt. Gen. Robert Skinner, Hon. John Sherman, and Ambassador-at-Large Nathaniel Fick.
The event will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions, and awards, addressing critical cyber needs across five tracks: Zero Trust & Data, Critical Infrastructure, Zero Trust & Identity, Cyber Workforce, and Emerging Tech. Topics will cover implementing the White House Cyber Strategy, executing Zero Trust across government agencies, upcoming cybersecurity legislation, international partnerships, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and safeguarding healthcare, energy grids, and state/local/tribal cyber systems.
