Salient CRGT, Inc. announced the procurement of a $6.4 million award as a subcontractor to THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. under the NETCENTS-2, Air Force Net Operations Small Business Set-Aside contract to provide Weapon System (WS) maintenance, operations, and support services to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/ HNCYD).
As a subcontractor with tremendous experience transforming IT services, Salient CRGT is ready to tackle the complex system of systems supporting the Air Force’s headquarters for cyber operations. Salient CRGT will support Weapon System (WS) operations and maintenance (O&M) services including legacy infrastructure, network, systems and operations support for the Cyber Command & Control Mission System (C3MS). The work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio supporting the Command and Control mission for Air Forces Cyber (AFCYBER). Salient CRGT’s industry leading approach to IT Service Delivery will dramatically improve system performance, reduce system outages, and allow the program management office to mature this critical node to support future multi-domain operations.
With over 318,415 active duty personnel, the USAF operates more than 5,360 military aircraft, 400 ICBMs and 170 military satellites, and 39 Cyber Mission Teams supporting combat operations around the world. AFLCMC is responsible for the acquisition and complete life cycle support of all aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic/cyber systems for the USAF and its international partners.
