R9B Awarded $8M in New Government and Commercial Cybersecurity Contracts

October 4, 2018 By admin

R9B (root9B, LLC), a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity products, services, and training, today announced that it has won over $8 million dollars in new commercial and government contracts. The contracts provide HUNT products, managed security services, training and other customer-specific cyber operations products and support. R9B’s products and services are provided onsite and remotely from its Adversary Pursuit Centers and training facilities in Colorado Springs, San Antonio, and Annapolis Junction.

Highlights in the commercial market include a new HUNT operations development contract with a Fortune 500 international retailer as well as an eCommerce company; numerous contracts that provide advanced and traditional managed services focused on client network security, advanced HUNT operations and training, ORKOS-driven credential risk assessment and mitigation and digital forensics and incident response.

“Government and private sector organizations remain hungry for a new approach to today’s most advanced cybersecurity challenges,” said Steve Picot, chief revenue officer at R9B. “Our consistent delivery of unique products and services to customers who are frustrated with passive technology – available via advanced managed services incorporating threat hunting- is clearly being rewarded.”

R9B Chief Executive Officer Eric Hipkins added, “Our continued business growth and the increasing trust our customers have placed on our unique, proactive approach are a testament that our vision of transforming the way organizations think about cybersecurity is working.”

R9B continued its first-half 2018 momentum to expand an already significant government contracts base supporting federal, state and municipal entities. Strong additions in federal contracts have been focused on execution and adoption of the ORION platform and advanced HUNT training across multiple U.S. DoD cyber elements. At the state and municipal levels, R9B continues to provide its incident response, security assessment and cybersecurity advisory services.
