Security practitioners can get a head start on strengthening their defenses against next year’s most difficult security challenges by attending an upcoming complimentary Virtual Conference organized by global business technology association ISACA.
IT Security Roadmap 2019: How to Survive Emerging Threats and Thrive in Complexity will take place on 7 November 2018 from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST (12:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. GMT). Attendees can participate in any or all of the following four sessions to glean insights and best practices around a range of topics, including identity governance, endpoint access, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning disciplines:
Session 1: The New IG: The Identity Governance and Compliance Balance—Jeffrey Ritter, founder of the Ritter Academy, will provide an overview of identity governance strategies to maintain data security and regulatory companies, covering authentication processes, authorization techniques, and best practices for auditing identity management.
Session 2: Cybersecurity Analytics Meets AI: Network, IT Threat Detection Strategies—David Shackleford, owner and principal consultant at Voodoo Security, will discuss using AI to improve cybersecurity analytics capabilities.
Session 3: Putting an End to Endpoint Security Risks with Modern Tools—Kevin Beaver, founder and principal information security consultant at Principle Logic, LLC, will outline endpoint security risks and share how professionals can adjust their systems and processes with these in mind.
Session 4: When Worlds Collide: Cybersecurity, Virtualized Infrastructure, and Next-Generation Software Development—Johna Till Johnson, president and senior founding partner of Nemertes Research, will explore the cybersecurity implications of microservices, microsegmentation, containers, software-defined networks (SDN) and software-defined WANs, and how to secure them.
Participants will be able to ask questions directly to industry experts and speakers during the sessions, connect with their peers around the world and earn up to five free continuing personal education (CPE) credits while enhancing their professional knowledge.
