Designed to address the nation’s pressing cyber needs, the virtual 12th Annual Billington Cybersecurity Summit features tech and federal leaders discussing top issues related to cybersecurity, including insider data theft, artificial intelligence, edge computing, 5G, ransomware and more. With the theme “Developing a Cyber National Strategy for the Speed of Mission,” headliners include DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Federal CISO Chris DeRusha and DHS CISA Director Jen Easterly, all discussing the hottest cyber trends.

Cyber Threats and Challenges: A panel of government and private sector experts provides insights into key cyber adversaries; trends in how they conduct their business; and how are they adapting to emerging cyber defenses.
The Ransomware Threat: Experts discuss how ransomware and the emergence of cybercrime cartels are changing the National Security picture.
New Frontiers in Securing Crypto Financial Systems: With the rise in electronic currency, this discussion examines how cybersecurity is evolving in the wake of an increase in digital banking and the emergence of large digital crime syndicates.
Telehealth: Enhancing Security, Privacy and Trust in the Aftermath of COVID-19: This session explores the next cybersecurity steps health care providers need to think about in the wake of the Covid pandemic.
Fireside Chats: These provide revealing insights into how the government is approaching some of the nation’s cyber vulnerabilities. Robert Joyce, Director, National Cybersecurity Directorate, NSA, DoD, will share a strategic view of the current cyber landscape and how this year’s major cyber events are shaping new ways of thinking about cybersecurity. In another chat, Lt. Gen. Michael S. Groen, Director, DoD’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center, explores how DoD is thinking about applying artificial intelligence at scale across the entire enterprise.
AI/ML: Enhancing Threat Identification to Deter Adversaries: Experts discuss kinds of data and algorithms needed to improve automated cyber defense systems, including ways that Artificial Intelligence can proactively discover and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
