Absolute Security Enhances Enterprise Resilience with Advanced Endpoint Recovery Capabilities

May 20, 2025 By admin Leave a Comment

Absolute Security, a prominent provider in enterprise resilience solutions, has announced a significant enhancement to its Absolute Resilience Platform through advanced “Extreme Resilience” capabilities integrated within its Rehydrate module. Designed specifically for large-scale Windows endpoint management, the upgraded Rehydrate tool now allows organizations to remotely restore endpoints instantly and comprehensively, even when critical security and management applications—or the operating system itself—have been compromised, corrupted, or otherwise rendered non-functional.

This sophisticated new functionality represents a significant shift toward self-reliant enterprise continuity management. With these enhancements, organizations can rapidly respond to disruptions without dependency on external vendor intervention, thus significantly minimizing downtime. Central to this update is the addition of powerful, customizable playbooks that enable IT and security teams to precisely tailor recovery responses according to specific threat scenarios, including complex incidents such as targeted ransomware attacks. Moreover, Rehydrate’s new capabilities provide seamless integration with widely-used security platforms—SIEM, SOAR, and other operations center tools—through API-triggered automation, facilitating streamlined incident detection, rapid response, and effective recovery.

Highlighting the urgency and relevance of such capabilities, Absolute Security referenced findings from their Resilience Risk Index 2025, which identified a considerable gap in security control compliance. According to the report, enterprises fail to maintain essential security and risk control compliance with internal policies roughly 22 percent of the time. This discrepancy underscores the critical necessity for enterprises to possess immediate and autonomous control over their endpoint recovery processes rather than relying on external service timelines or patch releases from vendors—especially during high-stakes disruptions.

John Herrema, Chief Product Officer at Absolute Security, emphasized the importance of immediate response capabilities, noting, “When the inevitable attack strikes or disruption hits, time becomes a liability. Organizations cannot afford reliance on single-purpose solutions or external assessments of severity. Enterprises require an entirely new level of Extreme Resilience, enabling swift and independent evaluation, prioritization, and remediation without delay.” This upgrade positions Absolute Security’s Rehydrate module as the sole business continuity solution currently capable of combining comprehensive endpoint recovery with customizable, incident-specific response playbooks and seamless tool integration, ultimately redefining enterprise resilience standards.
